I love having taco salad in those cool tortilla bowls they serve at restaurants and I figured there’s got to be an easy way to make them without frying them in a lot of oil.
This is what I did:
- I warmed the tortilla in the microwave for about 15 to 30 seconds, just enough for it to be soft and flexible.
- Then I draped the tortilla over a tin can, pressing the edges down. You will want to use a can with a big diameter like a spaghetti sauce can. A soup can is to narrow and won’t give you a good bowl shape.
- Bake it at 350 for 5-10 min until they are just turning brown on the edges.
- Take them off the can and there you have it!!
- A beautiful bowl for a salad!!!
